Future Goals:
I am clear on the fact that I want to play college basketball but what comes after that all depends on my college career. As of right now, I know basketball and fitness will remain a large part of my life and I want to incorporate that into my future beyond college. I've always been interested in psychology and I took a course for one semester sophomore year; I want to be able to study/major in that in college and potentially find a job that will be a good mix of sports and psychology. I've also developed the skill to create my own workout schedules so much so that I will receive texts from friends asking for a workout schedule of their own. I genuinely enjoy making them and I'm also able to motivate myself and others to sticking to them. Therefore, I'd say my dream job/jobs would be in sports psychology and fitness training. Additionally, I've done some coaching at DTX and I know that I want to coach in my future aswell. Overall, I think what happens after college is up in the air but I'd say my goal is to still be able to do what I love and help young basketball players succeed. Starting basketball "late" was something that was used to put me down and discourage me from achieving but I knew I could prove everyone wrong with my dedication and the help of DTX; the progress in such a short amount of time is noticeable. I think my story continues to become an inspiration to other players and I hope one day I can make an impact.
